All Sunday rides, except out-of-town rides, leave from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 13420 Maxella Ave, Villa Marina Marketplace. Most people ride to the start, but some drive and park on nearby streets.
Sunday departure time is 8:00 am up to Memorial Day weekend and then switches to the summer start time of 7:30 am through Labor Day weekend, except for out-of-town rides. Please be ready to roll at the departure time!
Your bike should be in good working condition and you should be prepared to fix a flat (i.e., have spare tube, tire levers, patches, pump or CO2 inflator, etc.). You should also carry a water bottle (two in warm weather), snacks, and lunch money. Helmets are required at all times, and no headsets or earbuds, please!
This schedule is always subject to change. As a convenience to riders, it may include mention of and links to other organized rides that some of us participate in, but these are not “official” or “out-of-town” MDRCC rides.
Please, no E-Bikes. This group is somewhat traditional and part of the reason people ride with us is for the fitness it brings under their own power.

Mulholland - Westlake (Out-of-Town!)
A new variation on an old time destination. Meet out at Malibu Bluffs Park to avoid the Santa Monica/Malibu section of PCH. Continue up PCH past Trancas and Leo Carillo State Beach to Mulholland Hwy. Climb up Mulholland to Westlake Blvd, and descend to Westlake Village. Lunch break at the Natural Cafe. The way back is either going back up Westlake Blvd. to Mulholland, Cornell Rd. to Mulholland, or Agoura Rd. back to Las Virgenes. Down Las Virgenes back to the start. RideWithGPS for the Cornell return: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31924896. This route is about 45 mile and 3900 feet of climbing. The route could be exteneded if people want more. And some people have said they will meet at San Vicente and Ocean at 7:00 am and ride out to Malibu Bluffs Park!
Meet at Malibu Bluffs Park at 8:15 for an 8:30 start. To get to the park, take PCH past Clear Creek, up the fun hill, and turn left at the top.
